The Alp Trainer 2 is a modern hiking boot with a mid-cut upper that provides reliable protection on long hikes over rough terrain. It has a robust, high-quality suede upper with durable stretch inserts on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber rand offers additional protection from rock edges and scree.

Comfort and support
The shoe has been specifically designed for women to accommodate the unique shape of the female foot. It has a precise fit, gives your foot support and is comfortable the first time you put it on. Our patented 3F System provides firm ankle support and lateral stability on rough terrain, while the soft Flex Collar gives the ankle more room to move and increases comfort on downhill. The customisable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) allows you to choose between different insoles and thus adjust the shoe volume to suit you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows individual tightening up to the toes.

Grip and control
The optimised Vibram Alpine Hiking outsole, only available from SALEWA®, improves performance and control on a wide variety of mountain terrain. With its special climbing, grip and braking zones, it is also convincing in wet and muddy conditions.
