SKI CLOTHING

Being cold and wet is no fun at all, and out in the mountains, it’s downright dangerous. Ski outfits definitely follow the onion principle so you will need a base layer or compression layer that helps wick moisture away from your body, a super-warm thermal midlayer and then a weatherproof outer shell. Even ski gloves follow this rule, with many consisting of a thin glove and a more robust outer glove, so even if you have to use your phone or adjust your clothing, you can still keep the inner glove on and your hands warm. One of the most critical ski garments are dedicated ski socks that are warm, comfy and with specific designs to reduces pressure on parts of the foot, or reduce rubbing from ski or snowboard boots.
