The Arcus focuses on comfort and ensures a pleasant running experience with its pronounced cushioning and lightweight EVA midsole, especially over long distances. To increase comfort, the Arcus is also equipped with a rocker midsole. This construction also supports the forward rolling behavior and thus reduces the pressure on the heel. The dual-density sole is firmer in the forefoot and therefore provides more dynamics in the push-off phase. The Arcus GTX is waterproof and uses the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane - a technology in which the membrane is directly connected to the upper material. The unique, flexible construction reduces weight, causes fewer pressure points and makes the shoe particularly snug.
The highly profiled RB9X-Au outsole provides reliable grip on slippery surfaces such as roots, stones and rocks. The special arrangement of the studs prevents mud and snow from sticking.
