Fleece Jackets: Warm & easy to throw on
Fleece is a brushed, fluffy fabric typically made from polyester, but may also incorporate polyamide, cotton, merino wool or other fibres. It works well as a warming intermediate layer during a mountain hike or thrown on as a top layer on your balcony on a cool summer evening. The outside of a fleece jacket has a soft surface, which makes it vulnerable to wind and water. However, fleece designs trap body warmth, are light and moisture-regulating, highly breathable and dry quickly if they get wet. More and more brands are using recycled polyester, for example from PET bottles, in their production.
